About the Artist

Michael E. King is an industrial designer and abstract artist whose work explores bold color, rhythm, and movement. He was born in a small town in West Virginia and trained at the renowned College for Creative Studies in Detroit focusing on interior, furniture, product and automotive design. Michael now lives and works in Los Angeles.

His work involves sweeping compositions with intricate ink-and-color drawings and bold acrylic paintings on canvas. Each piece is an original, one-of-a-kind creation.

Some influences are Picasso, Dali, Hundertwasser and Hockney to name a few.
